KOUNTZE ISD

Mr. McDonald has lived in Kountze, Texas for over 40 years.  He is a Kountze High School graduate, Class of 1997.  Both of his parents and three siblings also are Kountze graduates.  He is married to Jennifer McDonald and has 5 children, all of whom have attended or are currently attending school here at Kountze.   His desire to help ensure our children have access to the highest quality education led him to the KISD Board of Trustees, where he was first elected in 2014.  “As members of our community, we shoulder a mutual responsibility to help every student grow, develop, mature and learn in order to achieve his or her life’s goals. Beyond the loving support of family, education is the key to those aspirations. Education should be viewed, not as a cost, but as an investment.”
