KOUNTZE ISD

My wife and I moved into the Kountze district just before our son turned 3, for the schools.  We loved the size of the district, the people we knew here, and saw it as a community we wanted to join.  Not long after, my wife Anette, began teaching 3rd grade for Kountze ISD.

I hold a BS in Computer and Information Sciences and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Lamar University.  My employment experience includes 15 years at a local manufacturer as an IT Director prior to joining a chemical plant where I contribute as a software developer and data specialist, on a team where we innovate business processes.

From the start, I wanted to be involved in all aspects of my son’s education experience.  After volunteering around town and talking with community members, I felt that I could contribute to not only his education and experiences but also that of all students attending Kountze schools.  

I look forward to serving the Kountze ISD and all of its stakeholders.
